Seeking family - already have nanny (East Side)

1. Levi 2. Contact: levigibian@gmail.com 3. Age of child - 11 months 4. Already have a fantastic nanny 5. Looking for a family that is interested in sharing our nanny full or part time during regular business hours. 6. Neighborhood you live in- We live in East Harlem 7. Ideally, we would like to find a family that is willing to host somewhere in the Midtown East/UES/East Harlem area. 8. We do not have any pets, but are not against sharing with a family that does. 9. Does your child have any allergies? No 10. Does your building have an elevator (think double stroller!) Our building has steps, which is why we'd like to find a family willing to host that has an elevator/no steps for the nanny to navigate a double stroller (which we can provide). 11. Does your neighborhood have a playground, nice places to walk? Yes. Our nanny is fantastic about getting outside as much as possible. She currently has our son at a park or on play dates multiple times/week.

Seeking to help nanny acquire additional hours

My wonderful part time sitter/housekeeper, Elizabeth, is available 3 days/week starting last week of June. She has been with us since my baby was 3 months old, and is now 16 months old. She is happy to help with laundry and dishes or cooking while the baby is napping and she manages to get 2 loads done during her 2 naps (we have laundry in the apt). She is very comfortable with infants and young children. She keeps my toddler laughing and smiling all day, takes her to the park, to NY Kids Club, etc. She is a genuinely sweet woman and tries really hard to please. She is from Peru and Spanish is her 1st language. Her English is not fluent but is more than enough for me to communicate with her and for her to communicate with others in the event of an emergency. Plus, I prefer for her to speak to the baby in Spanish with hopes that she will learn. Also, she has completed a baby CPR class that I sent her to. I would ideally like to share her with someone who has some flexibility if I need to switch days occasionally. Right now, she works for me Tues and Thurs, and is free M, W, F, but I might want to switch her to W,Th in the fall in which case she would be available M, Tu, F. I work for myself so I can sometimes be a little bit flexible with my schedule if something came up and you needed her on my day as long as I didn't already have a client booked for that day. We live on the UES, so she is familiar with this neighborhood, and takes our daughter to the playgrounds and central park, and has been to 3 little birds, Kidville, and NY Kids club. But anywhere that is convenient to get to from Sunnyside, Queens would be ok for her. I am happy to call you to provide a reference and help you set up an interview – just email me at hayley@hlkconsulting.com with your contact info.

Seeking to help nanny acquire additional hours

Seeking to help nanny acquire additional hours (2-3 days per week). I would like to help our nanny find 2-3 additional days per week of work. Peggy has been working for us for 17 years and now that our children are older, we no longer need help full time. She is an amazing person - warm, caring, reliable and dedicated, very energetic, takes initiative, and has great judgment. You will be so glad you found her! She can be reached at 718-562-7814, or I can be reached at 917-769-9257 or virginia.knox@mdrc.org. This part-time job can start anytime from now through September, but preferably in July or August. We need her on Fridays but otherwise can work around whichever 2-3 days you prefer Monday-Thursday. (No inquiries for one day per week, please.) Peggy is available to work in Riverdale or Manhattan. She is wonderful with children of all ages and loves pets. She has a green card and a driver's license and is an excellent driver. We found out about shareournanny.com from a co-worker who has used the site.

Seeking to help nanny acquire additional hours - Fridays only

I'd like to help find my nanny additional work on Fridays and was hoping I could post to your site. Maya has been with us almost a year and a nanny for over 15 years. She's from Nepal and has three grown sons. She's available all day Friday. She's very prompt if not early, has never taken a sick day, resourceful with activities, playful, kind, has endless energy, good judgement and is completely trustworthy. She always knows the appropriate developmental activities, is always teaching my son things before i even think to, constantly sings to him, plays, reads and keeps him engaged. I can tell she genuinely loves her job. People who have seen her out with my son always comment how great she is with him and as a result she's been working with two of my friends. However Fridays have been inconsistent and Maya is hoping to find something more permanent. I know she will be a great asset to another family who is looking for some extra help. Maya can be reached at (347) 570-8384. Or you can contact me at adelerocyte@yahoo.com .

Seeking to help nanny find fulltime employment

1. Susan 2. Susanhouriet(AT)gmail.com 3. 14 months 4. Searching for FT employment for our nanny as we are moving away 5. Days and hours needed: She’s available FT, is very flexible. Worked for us 55 hours a week 6. Neighborhood you live in: Upper West Side but she is willing to work in any neighborhood 7. Are you willing to drop off your child at someone else's apt? N/A. 8. Do you have any pets? N/A 9. Does your child have any allergies? N/A 10. Does your building have an elevator (think double stroller!)? N/A 11. Does your neighborhood have a playground, nice places to walk? N/A 12. Would you be interested in signing up (and paying for) a "nanny and me" music class or gym class? N/A 13. Does your household have any dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, kosher, etc)? N/A 14. When would you be able to start nanny share? We are moving to New Jersey in mid-August but if someone needs her sooner we are flexible. 15. Any other relevant information you would like to share? Hilary has been caring for our daughter since she was 4 months old, and has become a part of our family. Now that we are moving to New Jersey, we very much want to help her find a new family to work with. Every morning our daughter's face lights up when she sees Hilary, and every night when I come home from work the two of them are busy playing on the floor or reading a book and she is bathed, fed and happy. As a first-time working mom, the thought of leaving my baby in someone else's hands when I went back to work was stressful, but from the moment I first saw Hilary scoop up my daughter into her arms and saw the joy on both their faces, I knew this was the person that would make all that easier. Thanks to Hilary our daughter, now 15 months old, is confident, secure and meeting all her milestones. Hilary arranges playdates, takes her to the playground, park and music classes, reads, sings and plays with her. She's a great texter and is always sending me photos. Hilary has raised four children of her own, and is extremely patient with our daughter, who is a very picky eater and light sleeper. When our daughter was sick she would hold her the whole day if needed. She administered medication and took her to the doctor. Hilary also helps keep the household running smoothly by handling light housekeeping (mainly baby-related), putting away her laundry and grocery deliveries and preparing her meals. She is also very flexible, willing to work overtime on nights and weekends, even with short notice. She's always on time and takes very few sick days. She can work on the books and in any area of Manhattan or Brooklyn, where she lives. She loves babies and has worked as a baby nurse. She's looking for a full-time position starting in mid-August, but if someone needs her sooner we have some flexibility. Please don't hesitate to contact me susanhouriet(AT)gmail.com with any questions or call or text Hilary Gibson directly at 347-898-9196. 16. How did you find out about www.shareournanny.com? MeetUp
